One-on-One Therapy
One-on-one therapy at PEIRSAC is structured to support meaningful trauma healing, with clear goals and supportive guidance from a trained clinician. This approach helps survivors move through trauma processing while also strengthening the skills and stability needed for long-term well-being.
PEIRSAC’s individual therapy at a glance:
Adults aged 16 + (Youth Services are also available)
15 - 20 sessions
Grounded in trauma-informed practice
Designed to support deep healing work at a sustainable pace
During therapy, survivors may:
Process trauma experiences using different therapeutic approaches
Strengthen emotional regulation and coping strategies
Rebuild trust, autonomy, and connection
Develop tools that support long-term well-being
Individual therapy is one important part of healing, but healing does not happen only in the therapy room. Many survivors also benefit from group programs, community connections, and time to integrate their work.
For this reason, individual therapy at PEIRSAC may be followed by a planned therapeutic pause or participation in community-based healing groups that support ongoing recovery.
