Foundations in Healing is an 18+ trauma skills group for women, non-binary folks, and people with lived experience who feel comfortable in this space. The group will meet for ten sessions, with 8–12 participants and will be a weekly closed group, meaning the same people attend each week.
This group is not a trauma-processing or trauma-sharing group. You will not be asked to share your trauma story.
Instead, this group focuses on:
Learning how trauma can affect the body, brain, emotions, and relationships
Understanding common trauma responses and why they happen
Learning practical coping and regulation skills to manage stress, emotions, and triggers
Practicing skills together in a supportive, structured environment
Sharing is always optional, and participants can engage at their own comfort level.
The group will be offered in person and online.
Group time and schedule will be determined based on participants' availability feedback.
This group may be a good fit if you want to better understand trauma and learn tools to support your day-to-day wellbeing, without needing to revisit or share past experiences.
